The Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce sponsors two Travel Tours for residents. The first departs March 19 at 2 p.m. for the Passion Play in Lake Wales with supper, play attendance, and return. Tickets are 12 dollars per person. A second tour tentatively set for April 15 will visit DeLand and Stetson University with an estimated 6 dollars, including a Stetson tour and a talk by Charles L. Bolen, former U.S. ambassador to France.
The Mount Dora City Council will meet Monday at 8 p.m. with City Planner Gerald L. Duke at City Hall to discuss major rezoning. Proposals would permit apartments in areas not currently zoned.
