A Sunday fire gutted a residence at 1325 Camp Street Mount Dora owned by M R Edenfield and lived in by Ann Hord and seven children. The blaze started in a bedroom then spread to the kitchen and exploded into flames. no injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. Mount Dora firefighters also responded to a 5:46 p m Saturday alarm at 1248 E Pine Ave debris on a lightbulb caused ceiling fire with smoke and water damage to the home of George Newsome.
