New Features In Eustis Celebration
The Eustis celebration introduces a powerful public address system for governor Carlton's remarks and Miss Smock of Eustis with Mr Harold Deatline of Martinsville Ind as health champions. Florence Hilliard, who tied with Miss Smock last spring, attends as special guest and will be presented with Miss Smock and Mr Deatline. The state executive staff will attend, including Secretary Igou and Agriculture Commissioner Mayo. A county wide pet show will award the first 100 entrants, and lake boat displays with green and red torches are planned. The International Fireworks Co will provide a large display with details to be announced. Ray Ferran leads the planning to attract record attendance. Stores will stay open on February 22, a Saturday.
