The Mount Dora City Council schedules its final meeting of the current term for 8 p.m. Tuesday in City Hall Council chambers. E. E. Wyn Brown and Tommy Houser will leave the council as Gordon Dake and Charles R. Javens are to take seats later this month. Brown Houser and President J. P. Turner sought re-election in the December 8 city race. Dake led the slate Javens Turner edged Houser by three votes for the third seat. Funeral services were held for Mrs. Fannie E. Spilky a 69 year old Mount Dora resident since 1927 at Fairchild Funeral Home Chapel with Rabbi Rudolph J. Adler officiating. Interment followed in Ohev Shalom Cemetery. She was active in the Lake County Pilots Club Eastern Star Pythian Sisters and Haddassah. Survived by two daughters Natalie Levi and Sheila Grossman two brothers Ted Ehrlich and Ben Ehrlich and two sisters Bess Ehrlich and Jill Davis.

He outlined how federal and sometimes state aid could cover about 75 percent of air strip costs and demonstrated a film on community air-strip projects and benefits.
