The Tourist Club announces a night off next week on Tuesday January 4 due to the holiday season. The program resumes January 11 with an entertainment by the Southern College featuring two one act plays and additional acts. Twelve fine numbers are planned for the following Tuesday evenings.
The Tourist Club presented a Travelogue on Tuesday titled Footloose with Ford and Film, or A Girdle Around the United States in Ninety Days, narrated by Herbert J. Wyckoff of the Haverford School for Boys. The audience praised vivid pictures and accurate descriptions, tracing a coast to coast tour from Rockland Maine to Zion Park and the Grand Canyon with many national parks and landmarks named.
