Kiwanis members radioed plans for a Christmas program led by Rev. M J Houterse with Mrs Houterse and Mrs C M Brown presiding. They reported on the Kiwanis Training School at Tavares and named T M Kramer director for 1938. Visitors included A M Engelhard M L Wienbroeder and William Zeller. Christmas Cantata Fills Methodist Church With Pageantry
The Methodist church was filled Sunday night for the Christmas cantata The Music of Christmas directed by Mrs C M Gudg eon with a 24 voice choir Mrs Gudgeon on organ and Mrs C M Brown on piano. Soloists included Mrs Van Voorhis Mrs Colley Miss Hariet Banks Mr Kenneth Mayer and Mr W J Ferris. The church decorations featured evergreen cedar trees and a large star while candles lit the choir loft as the lights were dimmed for effect.
