Trailers Solve Housing Problem Of Navy Personnel With Families
Navy uses 400 ready to move trailer coaches at 14 Florida air stations to house 1800 sailors and families. Each unit rents for 1 dollar a day plus about 2.65 dollars monthly for utilities. Trailers are fully furnished with living room kitchenette and bedroom, set on concrete piers with shared utilities and on base access, boosting morale and reducing lodging costs. Permanent housing is planned at the same sites as trailers, with more possible nationwide use.
