A salt water fishing survey by the Florida Board of Conservation reports 226 bridges jetties and tree piers used by anglers across the state highlighting the depth and spread of coastal access.
The Mutual Investing Foundation trustees declare a regular quarterly dividend of 14 cents per share payable Aug. 17 to holders of record July 31. This year's fund payments total 42 cents, down from 44 cents in the same period in 1963, with a prior 30 cent capital gains distribution versus 25 cents last year.

At the Kiwanis luncheon this Thursday Ben Van Zuyer will address the group on leadership. The club notes leadership is needed in schools colleges businesses temples churches and government.
Cmdr. Howard B. Shively of Mount Dora is appointed executive officer at Sanford Naval Air Station and will reside on base. He will serve under Capt. James Lanson until November 1965 while continuing to live in Mount Dora and commuting weekends.
Irwin V Fetch 83 of Mount Dora died Friday after seven years in Mount Dora and a longtime resident of Jefferson Ohio. He worked with Dorset Milk Co before retirement. Survived by wife Stella two sons Wesley Jefferson and David Mentor Ohio five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Prayer services conducted at Rehbaum Chapel Sunday 3 p.m. by Rev David Coffield. Body to be taken to Jefferson Ohio for services and interment.

The American Cancer Society conclude its fourth annual follow up in Lake County. Twenty five researchers, led by Dr J N Rester and Dr T F Langley, checked 10 to 20 families each year for six years. Mount Dora researchers include Mrs W W Helard and others. The program aims to identify daily environmental factors related to cancer development.
