Army jeep and car collide at Donnelly Eleventh
An Army jeep driven by a soldier and a car driven by Maj. David L. Wiley crashed Tuesday at the corner of Donnelly and Eleventh avenues. Major Wiley was traveling south on Donnelly and the soldier east on Eleventh. Neither yielded enough at the caution light. Neither man was hurt despite both vehicles being damaged.

CIO Labor Recruiting Under Investigation In Florida
Murl E. Pace of United Growers and Shippers Association of Florida urged Attorney General Tom Watson to personally probe CIO labor recruiting in the area. The effort has moved 438 workers to New Jersey with calls for 1,200 more. A previous legislature requires a 1000 state and 500 county license for out-of-state labor agents. U. S. officials say those shipped out lacked referral cards and were Campbell Soup Company recruits. Watson said state law forbids out-of-state recruitment without licensing and said boarding trains could be arrested. He was in Orlando Tuesday and returns Friday.
