Salvage crew recalls prank on Keys divers over mythical galleon
A Florida Keys salvage team recounts a months long trip with poor weather and a prank they played on new divers who leased ocean frontage. They crafted a fake cargo manifest and survivor account for a mythical galleon El de, fooling the beginners into seeking a non existent treasure. The narrator jokes that if the divers find a real galleon he would “kill myself.”
