Up to 400 entrants from the southeastern U S are expected to exhibit crafts sculpture paintings graphics photography and jewelry making with roughly 300 prize money in craft categories plus purchase and merit awards.

Mount Dora Council backs church compromise to six months
The Mount Dora City Council approved a compromise extending the Calvary Chapel Assembly of God conditional use permit for six months with a possibility of another six months to allow the church to find a new location. The vote was 4 to 3 with Cox Lott Murray and Pearson in favor.
