Mount Dora church seeks six month CUP extension
Mount Dora Planning and Zoning Committee will recommend a six month extension of the Calvary Chapel of the Assembly of Gods conditional use permit to hold services in a residential area with a possible additional six months if suitable quarters are not found. The church agreed to use the city building temporarily and faces a $25 daily charge for the facility. The council may act August 6.

Voter Registration Deadline Nears for Florida Primary
Registration books close Saturday for the First Primary Election on September 10 in Florida. Lake County books open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Courthouse in Tavares for last minute signups. The Lake County School Board will hold a public hearing at 7 30 p m Monday July 29 to explain its request for an 8 mill levy to fund the 1974 75 budget.
