Aldrich Named Mount Dora Little League President
Ronald E. Aldrich was named president of the Mount Dora Little League in a session held last week. Harold Dawson is first vice president responsible for the baseball field, George Clement second vice president for umpires, Mrs. W. C. Fowler secretary treasurer, and Gerard Jaillet refreshments chairman. Two season halves of 15 games each are planned with a championship playoff for each half. Play begins about the third week in May with some weeks featuring four games to allow family time. Team sponsors include Lions Club, Rotary Club, American Legion Post 35, Junior Chamber of Commerce, and Kiwanis Club. Dwight Mosteller cannot work with the league this season due to other activities.
