S J Stivers 63 of Mount Dora died unexpectedly Saturday in a Gainesville hospital. He moved to Mount Dora about six years ago from West Monterey Pennsylvania and belonged to the Golden Triangle Community Chapel. Surviving are his widow Louella, two sons R J and Wendell, two daughters Helen Jordan and Beatrice Conner, his mother Bertha M Stivers, a brother Kenneth and a sister Elsie Horrell. Funeral was set for Thursday April 16 at Sligo Pennsylvania.

Funeral Set Friday For Louis A. Lee
Louis A. Lee, 90, of Mount Dora, died Tuesday night in an Eustis hospital. Funeral services 10 a.m. Friday at Rehbaum Chapel officiated by Rev. David Coffield. Burial at Pine Forest Cemetery. Formerly of West Haven, Conn., he worked with the Connecticut Company of New Haven for over 40 years before retiring in 1947. Survived by daughter in law Ruth L. McLean and granddaughter Olive M. Lee, both of Mount Dora.

Deputy Ober Hurt On Emergency Run
Mount Dora deputy George Ober was listed in fair condition after a two car crash in Eustis Saturday while en route on an emergency run to transport blood. James Thorpe of Eustis left in front of the fast moving vehicle. Thorpe and others were not injured. Ober sustained back injuries and loss of use of his right arm. Deputy Don Scism completed the run.
