FSA nominates county committee candidates by August 1
The USDA Illinois FSA reminds farmers and ranchers that nominations for local county committees are due by August 1. Beginning farmers women and minorities are urged to participate. Eligibility includes participation in an FSA program and residency in the area. Nomination forms FSA 669A must be filed with the local USDA Service Center by August 1. Ballots go to voters by November 7 and are due December 5. New committee members take office January 1, 2017.
