Zehner Family Named 2015 Conservation Farm Family

The Zehner family received the Governor's Conservation Farm Family award at the Association of Illinois Soil and Water Conservation Districts annual conference July 27 28 for outstanding conservation on their Lawrence County farms and neighborly service. They will receive a farm sign at the Salute to Agriculture event during the Illinois State Fair on August 22. Sponsors include Illinois Stewardship Alliance Meijer Brandt Brownfield Network and the Association of Illinois Soil and Water Conservation District.
