Inman Wins Bid for Carter Building Auction
H. R. Inman president of Inman Electric Co. was announced high bidder and new owner of the Carter Building at North Main Street and Old Springs Road after Friday’s auction. Inman plans to move operations to the new site by early 1970 to expand service and provide more parking. The firm, based in the 400 block of North Main Street, has 24 employees and offers electrical contracting for commercial and residential projects.
