Edw M Linville as trustee will sell at public auction in front of The National Bank Mount Airy on June 26 1930 at 1 PM a parcel of land known as part of the Galloway and lavender lots in Mount Airy Surry County North Carolina to satisfy a $200 note plus interest and costs. The sale is conducted under a deed of trust dated March 26 1927 by J A Hiatt and Lena Hiatt for Glenn J Hiatt recorded in book 73 page 428. A one half undivided interest is conveyed.

Ida B Warren Ends Prison Term
Ida Ball Warren, long time prisoner since 1916, ends her term today and will gain liberty tomorrow if plans hold. She was the first North Carolina woman sentenced to death by electrocution for the murder of her husband, aided by S P Christy in the cover up. Christy confessed after capture in Texas and both were initially sentenced to death, later commuted to life terms by governors Morrison, Bickett, Gardner. Warren, who worked diligently in prison, plans to return to her former home and start anew, having saved about 1500 dollars through service.
