International Minerals to Build Fertilizer Plant in Fort Worth
International Minerals and Chemical Corporation, which posted 53 million dollars in sales last year and claims to handle about a third of the nation's plant food volume, has chosen Fort Worth for a new chemical fertilizer plant. The company operates plants in 50 cities across 20 states, with headquarters in Chicago and a regional division led by vice president George Woodruff. The new facility will cover about 30 acres and join industries like phosphates and acids in serving cotton and crop growth in the region.

Mrs Janca Laid at Rest in Cistern Texas
Mrs. Alouise Mary Janca a longtime resident of Cistern Texas died August 26 at Shirer Hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were held August 28 at St. Catholic Church with Rev K Ledize Rev Janacek and Rev Hanaeek officiating. Interment followed in Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers included I G Janca Jr Milton Janca and others. Kubena Funeral Home arranged. She was born March 27 1869 in Czechoslovakia and survived by six sons and several daughters with 29 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Her husband John Janca died in 1915.
