Henry Bauer of Colony Texas died Friday October 6 after a short illness at a Weimar hospital. Funeral services were at Colony Methodist Church with interment in Colony Cemetery. Grandsons Dale Bauer Edgar Bauer Donald Lee Bauer Toxie Lee Schmidt Owen Bauer and Johnnie Fojtik served as pallbearers. Survivors include wife four sons Ed Bauer Stennie Bauer Fritz Bauer and Henry Bauer three daughters Laura Fojtik Fred Schmidt and Pearl Dungen 39 grandchildren one great grandchild one great great grandchild one niece and three nephews. He was born December 17 1872 in Industry Texas and was 77 years 10 months 18 days old. He married Eckermann on October 22 1895 in Industry then lived in Waelder East Bernard before Colony.
