The Moulton Branch of the Laveca County Farmers' League met at the Moulton High School Auditorium with strong attendance. Members urged use of cotton bagging for cotton bales, requested action from lawmakers, and considering a cotton classer for the season. The league adopted two resolutions: demand a cotton acreage allotment of 45 percent and oppose the 8 percent penalty for overplanting the present allotment. A copy of these resolutions will be sent to the state secretary of the league.
