Hail Storm Destroys Crops Near Moulton
A severe hail storm between seven and eight o clock Monday evening damaged crops on about fifty farms in the area between Barrsville Komensky and Witting east of here. Roofs and barns suffered, windows broke, and farmers rushed to town Tuesday to buy seeds. Loss estimated in thousands of dollars, no injuries reported. A hard rain with hail fell at Moulton, and other towns reported rain and damage including a $100,000 loss at Luling.
