Mike Hogg of Houston says in emphatic language he will not enter the gubernatorial race next year. Gonzales is set to open a feather pillow factory soon. Feathers have long been shipped from Gonzales to the North and to Europe. Hallettsville Texas April 29 Work on laying pipe for the city sewer system is progressing rapidly and will cost 35000. After completion paving of court house square and a block each way will begin. Bonds totaling 50000 were voted for the project. The waterworks plant will also be improved at about 20000. Water comes from artesian wells.
