Mrs Gill, wounded in the Roosevelt assassination attempt by Giuseppe Zargara, is discharged from Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. She was declared out of danger after a bullet wound received February 15 and will remain under medical care at Miami Beach.
A trustee election is scheduled at Culak School on Saturday April 1 with polls open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Barborak family of Komensky mourns their two year eight month old son Victor Jr who died at Shiner hospital after injuries from his father's runaway team. The cultivator struck him in the yard and head injuries proved fatal. Funeral services were conducted from the family home with burial at Moulton Catholic cemetery. The community offers its sympathy.
Hermann Blaschke of Wied Community built an 80 by 4 by 5 foot trench silo holding about 634 tons and fed 4 cows 4 calves and a bull from it from November 28. Milk production stayed steady through winter but spoilage reached about 50 percent due to insufficient water and packing. He plans a larger silo next year and advises packing the silage tight with water to reduce loss.

Kathrine Strieder aged 84 years 8 months 12 days died in San Antonio on March 22 at her daughter’s home. She is buried at Mentz Cemetery near Columbus. Survived by seven children, 16 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. pallbearers listed. The Eagle offers condolences to the family.
The Colorado Valley baseball league will open its 1933 schedule at Moulton Sunday April 16. W H Pundt and Fred F Fehrenkamp are director and manager of the Moulton team. The league includes Flatonia Weimar La Grange Fayetteville Ellinger and Moulton.
Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Fehrenkamp visited the Giegsbers home in Flatonia Saturday. Mrs. Elo Fehrenkamp and Miss Margaret Boehm were in Schulenburg and Hallettsville Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. J Bohnenkamp returned Saturday afternoon after a pleasant visit in San Antonio.

The Ladies Auxiliary of Geier-Ver rem Post No 892 American Legion announces a Tuesday night program for April 4. The musical lineup includes a prayer by chaplain, songs, a piano duet by Corrine Anders and Alice Vondrak, accordion selections by Kenward Kolar, piano solo by Mrs. Frank Wagner, violin solo by Mr Jno V Havlik with Eunice Kopecky accompanist, and a Battle Hymn of the Republic singalong.
The three act comedy The Henpacked Hero was staged by the Parent Teacher Association at Evergreen School. A big audience enjoyed the play which earned 28 dollars in receipts. Cast included Anita Kurtz Elsie Kurtz Prof Claude YV Jones Wray Borrer Edward Darilek Edwin Dariex Milton Riske Dela Kurtz Della Eimis Louis Darilek and Lexie Kurtz. Proceeds benefit both Evergreen and Baursville Schools with another performance slated Sunday night.
Witting beats Komensky 3 games to none on Tuesday March 28 at Komensky. Scores were 17 15, 16 14, and 15 ? Verona Cinadi led Witting with 16 points, Regina Mican 15, Martha Pavlas top scorer for Komensky with 8. Witting now 3-2 in five meetings with Komensky and aims for county volleyball title.
Arnhold Jaroszweski Jr., son of Mr and Mrs Arnhold Jaroszweski was baptized during Sunday morning services at Zion's Lutheran Church. Rev A H Falkenberg officiated with sponsors Mr and Mrs Charles Flessner and Mrs and Mrs Rad Jaroszweski.
Mrs. F. T. Fehrenkamp and Mrs. Erna Kotzebue visited at the George Bargman home in Gonzales on Tuesday.
The W. B. Gordon Company of San Antonio has leased a large block of land from Mrs. Mary Jurajda in Flatonia Texas. Fuller earth is found in large quantities and work will start immediately.
Anton Heimann of Oakland stayed several days in Moulton last week as a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Kieshnik.
The next regular meeting of the Moulton Volunteer Fire Department will be held at the American Legion Hall Monday night April 3. All members are urged to attend.

Prof Charles W McDonald principal of Komensky school is recovering nicely from pneumonia after an attack. The notice confirms his health is improving and his staff wish him a full recovery.

The Yoakum ice factory also undergoes modernization with an oil engine electric motors and other equipment being installed. A paving crew nears the Cuere Yoakum road within seven miles of the city.
