The Tri County Baseball League formed for Colorado Fayette and Lavaca Counties with seven teams from Yoakum Shiner Witting Moulton High Hill Ammansville and Weimar. S.D Meredith Weimar Edgar Anders Ammansville and Rev John Wagner elected president vice president and secretary treasurer. Games begin Sunday April 23 with Moulton Knights of Columbus joining.

Interscholastic League Meet Opens on Lions Club Grounds
The first part of the University of Texas Interscholastic League District meet was held here Friday March 10. Schulenburg and Moulton led various divisions in soft ball and volleyball events with Schulenburg first in junior high and grade school boys soft ball, Moulton first in senior high boys soft ball, and Moulton first in high school girls volleyball.
