The Moulton Fire Department held a banquet in Boehm's pasture, southeast of town, with barbe cued mutton and beef, bread, pickles, and cigars. Rev. A H Falkenberg acted as toastmaster and spoke about the state firemen's convention held in Corpus Christi. Donations from Henry Krueger W F Oehl Son Arnold Freytag and Pundt Meyer funded the meat, with others contributing as well.
