Loretta Turner 21 formerly of North Dakota and resident of Yoakum died in a Yoakum hospital from injuries from a February 1 auto crash about two and a half miles from Shiner on Highway 95. Passenger Frank Valis of near Shiner escaped with minor injuries as the car rolled after a tire blowout.
