Hallettsville February 8 Arnold son of Mrs Herman Riske of Witting sustained head and chest injuries when the car he was driving skidded and overturned.
Miss Olivia Glatzert wed William Noack on February 8 in Shiner with Rev. R. Schuetze officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Otto Glatzert and the groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Pete Noack.
Community committeemen Edgar Freytag John Welff and Henry Butschek met at the bank building signing up 185 cotton growers for 1939 quotas. Fifty one growers remain unsigned.
