Historic Marker Dedicated Here in Moulton
Approximately 1,000 residents and guests gathered at the American Legion grounds to dedicate a centennial marker marking General Sam Houston and the Texas army camp site from March 15 1826. The ceremony featured flags banners a legion band colors guards speakers Rev Falkenberg and Rev Dickson with remarks by Tom Cheatham and Colonel Fehrenkamp. The dedication was sponsored by Geier Merrem Post 392 and the Moulton Business Men's League.

George Flessner age 61 11 21 died Sunday April 18 at 3 25 after residing in Shiner since 1924 He was born April 28 1875 in Germany and came to Texas in 1891 He married Bertha Werting in 1902 and leaves widow two children Paul and Irene three grandchildren three brothers and one sister Funeral held at 3 pm Monday by Rev A H Falkenberg burial in Shiner City Cemetery.

Bernhard Tenberg 76, pioneer resident of Shiner, died Sunday. Burial was in Shiner City Cemetery Monday with Rev. Wolfsdorf officiating. Survived by his widow, eight children and 19 grandchildren. He also leaves one brother.

The Moulton Business Men’s League held its regular meeting with J. B. Wilson presiding. Minutes were read and approved, bills paid, and committee reports praised. William Kram Buried. Prominent Shiner Resident Dies
William Kram of near Henkhaus died Friday night from a horse kick injury. Funeral Monday at the family home with mass at Shiner Catholic Church. Interment in Shiner Catholic cemetery. Born October 6, 1879 in Germany, age 57. Survived by widow Lena Wendel and six children Erwin, Mrs. Jacob Rethbauer, Mrs. Herbert Raab, Arnold, two brothers Frederick and C. W., and sister Mrs. Fritz Oaken. He helped lead the Moulton Co-operative Gin and Mill Co. and was a longtime local leader.
