School Entertainment At Opera House For Home and School Club
The teachers and pupils of the Sam and Will Moore Institute presented a two hour program at the opera house Monday night for the Home and School Club. A good audience attended and door receipts totaled $37.60. The show included songs readings folk dances a dialogue a debate and a flag drill with excellent renditions and strong applause. Credit is given to the teachers and pupils for the pleasure provided.

Good Road Work Progress on Moulton Flatonia Route
Henry F L Mueller and his crew are grading the Moulton to Flatonia road starting north of town at Stainacher’s place. The project, begun weeks ago, will take about a month more. The improved road will restore a major trade artery long impassable, reducing future rain related closures.
