A historical note for Easter on April sixteenth offers two simple luncheon recipes. Orange Flower Appetizer uses orange segments and cream cheese stuffed plums served on crystal plates. Apricot Sherbet blends apricots with corn syrup and marshmallows, then folds in egg whites and sugar for a light frozen finish. Serves six.
Miss Vivian Riske and Miss Joyce Meyer from Lutheran College Seguin spent a week with local family. Miss Annie Winzig of Flatonia visited Moulton last Thursday and called at The Eagle office. Mr and Mrs Edwin Grunwald and baby returned to Nashville Tennessee. Mr and Mrs F T Fehrenkamp of Moulton and Mr B W Fehrenkamp of Shiner visited Ellinger last Thursday to see ill Gerhard Fehrenkamp.
