A Coal City woman was treated and released at Morris Hospital after a two car collision at Broadway and Oak Streets. Anne Lafferty, 140 Walnut Street, northbound on Broadway, struck Kenneth Walker, 18, of Mazon driving west on Oak. Walker was cited for failing to yield.

I 80 Driver Injures in Grundy County Crash
Patricia Mitchell of Providence Rhode Island was treated and released from St Joseph Hospital Joliet after her car was driven off Interstate 80 near the Brown Road overpass by another vehicle. The eastbound car rolled and struck a guard rail 100 feet west of the overpass at 1 50 p.m. Police said the incident occurred in Grundy District 5.
