Sheppard Trial Opens Oct 24 in Cleveland
The re trial of Samuel H. Sheppard for murder will open in Cleveland on Monday Oct 24 after Judge Francis J Talty denied a venue change and granted a delay from Oct 18. Break-In Reported at Goose Lake School
A break-in at Goose Lake School ten miles east of Illinois 47 was reported to Grundy County Sheriff at 7 30 a m today. Three south windows were broken two classrooms entered and searched no items reported missing one burglar was cut on glass. Sheriff officials have not determined the number of intruders.

In New York the wife of Malawi delegate G T K Mwalilino leaps from an 18th floor window after throwing her two children from the same height. A TV installer and other witnesses describe the scene and police confirm the victims Olive M Mwalilino 24 and her infants Kotoki and Janet. Youth Burglary Two Put On Two Year Probations
Two area youths from Minooka, John Fred Dirst and Raymond B. Breen, were placed on two years probation for burglarizing Minooka High School last August.
