Farm Leader Dies in Illinois at 74
John J. Lacey 74, former information director of the American Farm Bureau, died Friday of an apparent heart attack in Winfield Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois and taught vocational agriculture in high school before joining the Farm Bureau in 1936. From 1960 to 1964 he worked for the Illinois Agricultural Association at Bloomington.
