A 228000 bond was approved in Mazon Grade School District 400 by 293 to 91 with 1 spoiled ballot. The addition adds three classrooms a science room a library study hall music room restrooms and remodeling of offices to ease crowding and support future enrollment. Construction should start soon with occupancy hoped for fall 1970 and debt service about 23 cents per 100 of assessed valuation. A citizen committee led by Mrs James Grenell aided the campaign.
