Combine fire at Hampton farm causes belt blaze
The Morris Fire Department responded at 4 15 p m Thursday to the Robert S Hampton farm two miles east of Illinois 47 on Illinois 113. A self propelled combine owned by John Haus child and driven by Mark Gib son overheated and caught fire to the belts. Belts were replaced and no permanent damage occurred.
