Morris City Council to raise water rates over three months

Daniel Wright 26 faces two counts of attempted murder armed violence and aggravated battery for a Feb 24 stabbing in a van returning to Morris from Carbon Hill. Ray Lee Clark 21 faces two counts of aggravated battery and one of reckless conduct for a Nov 3 shooting of Shawna Strobel 6 at 528 E Benton St. The Strobel girl remains hospitalized with serious injuries. Ricky Pointer 22 and Daniel Scafe 17 were charged with burglary and theft at the Robert Rush residence. Bail set at 50 000 for Pointer and Scafe. The grand jury was led by Grundy County State's Atty Charles Zalar.
