Rites Held Today at Dwight For Woman Killed by Train
Funeral services for Maria Fratia 79 of Dwight were held at St Patrick Church with burial at Mt Olivet Cemetery. She died Friday afternoon after being struck by a train at a crossing where gates and flasher lights were reported working witnesses said. A coroner s inquest is planned. Fratia born in Italy was survived by a son Anthony and 29 grandchildren among eight daughters and several sons in Joliet Temple City Milwaukee Memphis and other cities.
