Voters north of Morris in Saratoga township turnout neared 100 percent with 83 Yes and 49 No in a ballot to annex the area to Morris. County Judge Leonard Hoffman declared the election regular and the area now part of Morris, with 138 ballots cast of an estimated 143 voters. The decision ends a two year dispute and allows further development, including construction at Dresden Nuclear Power Station eight miles east of Morris.
