Robert Kezerle 25 of 521 Douglas St in satisfactory condition in St Joseph Hospital Joliet after a motorcycle collided with a car driven by Debbie Johnson 16 on Cemetery Road one half mile east of Washington Street Grundy County Sheriff Sgt Ken Shannon said Kezerle tried to pass Johnsons car but struck its left side Kezerle was thrown into a ditch and transported first to Morris Hospital then to St Joseph Hospital Johnsons car and passengers were not injured.

State highway workers return to county jobs

Florida man Ray Morton identified as Joliet field murder victim
Ray Morton, 39, of Kissimmee Florida, was identified by the FBI after a farmer found his body last Friday in a Will County field. Morton had been shot in the head and police labeled the death a murder. He formerly worked at Disney World and may have been traveling with a carnival that recently visited the area.
