Drowning Victim's Body Recovered In Yorkville
The body of Mario Herrera 25 of 6622 N Ashland Ave was recovered from the Fox River at Summer Resort near Silver Spring Park by the Ottawa rescue squad after he and a companion Justo Gonzalez 21 of 831 W Roscoe St drowned when Herrera struck his head diving. An inquest was not held per Kendall County Coroner Everett McKeown. only an inquiry will be added to sheriff and Yorkville police reports. The second drowning victim was Gonzalez. Also noted, Liberty Street railroad crossing in Morris will be closed two to three weeks for repairs starting 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
