Monsignor Edward McDonough Dies After 26 Years at Immaculate Conception
The 78 year old Monsignor Edward McDonough died suddenly of a heart attack at Columbus Hospital in Chicago. He served as pastor of Immaculate Conception Church from 1936 until retirement in 1969 and was made a monsignor in the 190s. Visitation is at Cowboy Funeral Home with funeral at St. Edmond's Oak Park Thursday at 10 a.m. He is survived by a brother Randall and sister Florence Davy.
