Boater Hurt in Joliet Area Boat Incident
Joliet man Tom Wilhelmi, 23, was listed in good condition at St Joseph Hospital Joliet after severe leg and foot injuries from a boating mishap Saturday afternoon. A wake from another boat caused his vessel to rock and him to fall into the water near the Illinois River 17 miles west of Morris. Deputy Donald Woodward reported the 4 45 p m incident. Witness Bob Setina of Joliet observed the mishap. Wilhelmi was taken to Morris Hospital then transferred to St Joseph.
