Injuries fatal to Kinsman man reported
A 78 year old Kinsman resident died at St. Francis Hospital Peoria at 8 10 am today from head injuries after a car struck him in Streator at 11 10 am Tuesday. Daniel Prindiville crossing Monroe and Main Streets was hit by a left turning vehicle driven by Joanna Mayfield of Sharon Road Streator. The driver was blinded by the sun and no charges have been filed. An inquest will be held in Peoria. Burial plans follow in Kinsman Sacred Heart Church with Rev Donald Benzing.

Morris City approves road bid for Holiday Inn frontage
The Morris City Council voted 5-3 to accept an $87 846.40 bid from James E McElwain Construction for frontage road work by the Holiday Inn. The bid includes a May or June 1973 surfacing option delaying about 20000 in the 1973 74 year. The city and Holiday Inn will cover most costs with state permission affecting a few share payments.

Developer John Marchi told the Grundy County Planning Commission of a 33 acre 200 mobile home site as part of a 68 acre expansion to the Evergreens Ridgecrest subdivision. The project includes 92 multi family units 32 single family homes and a nine acre shoppette market. phased over four years with 1972 target timetable and access to U S 6. The plan requires rezoning for the nine acre commercial area and relies on a expanded three stage sewage plant to serve about 250 capacity yet currently serving 100 units. The Evergreens Ridgecrest area population is about 700 with 100 homes and 75 units.
