Sheriff Marvin L. Olson announces a 12 week training program for all Grundy County law enforcement officers. The course runs 36 classroom hours covering the Illinois Criminal Code search and seizure accident investigation narcotics juvenile procedures and more. Courses held at the courthouse Thursday evenings 7 to 10 with instructors from federal state and local agencies. The program aims to foster cooperation and relationships for county wide enforcement. An Morris Grade School Board meeting at Franklin School tonight has been postponed to Thursday 7 p.m. to review pending safety survey work for District No. 54.
