FBI kills hijacker after 10 hour airliner standoff
A stocky gunman hijacked an Albany to New York City flight demanding 200000 and parachutes. After landing at Westchester Airport the suspect was shot by an FBI agent as he tried to flee with a hostage in a waiting car. The hijacker Heinrich von George, 45, was identified by police. stewardess Eileen McAllister survived unharmed.
