Four vehicles collided on Interstate 55 at the Kankakee River Bridge injuring three people. Marie Pauley and Elizabeth Hegland were treated at St. Joseph Hospital Joliet with Hegland’s car bursting into flames and a fire department response. No citations issued.
Byron Amundson 71 of 925 E North St resigns as Morris Township supervisor citing health problems. Mrs. Josie Pack appointed acting supervisor until replacement. petitions for April 5 election available Dec 27 to Jan 31 with caucuses Feb 1 and filings Feb 14.

The next regular meeting is set for 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, at the Kendall County Office Building.
