About half lack sufficient income and many rely on Social Security with limited medical insurance. Mobility and housing issues also appear significant, with differences by county highlighted. Essex man passes after fall from rowboat at Reed Township lake
Angelo L. Passini aged 85 of Essex was found drowned Wednesday afternoon at the Arrowhead Recreation Club on Essex Road in Reed Township. Officials say he apparently fell from his rowboat while fishing. an inquest will be held. Passini, born in Montese, Italy, lived in Essex all his life and was a retired farmer. Surviving are three daughters and four sons, 13 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Funeral services set for Patterson Funeral Chapel with a Requiem Mass at St. Lawrence Church and burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
