Three Morris Boys Admit Fire at FPB Warehouse
Three 13 year old Morris youths told police they discarded a cigarette butt causing a fire at Federal Paper Board's paper storage warehouse on Washington Street. The blaze destroyed shredded paper and damaged the east end. fire crews remained on scene 3:40 to 6 p.m. Officials said FPB did not want prosecution.

Grundy AVC Base Raised to 8256 and Staff Pay Hikes
The Ad ministrative Advisory Council approved a 3.2 percent raise raising the Grundy Area Vocational Center base salary from 8000 to 8256 for 1973-74.
