Moravia Shops Hit by Third Robbery in Weeks
The Moravia area suffered its third robbery in just over three weeks Saturday night into Sunday. The Club 60 and Dewey’s on Highway 60 were entered by forced doors and a window. About $100 in change and coins were stolen from Dewey’s, while Club 60 lost $42 and some beer. Earlier, the Gamble store and Farm Service were broken into, taking $16 and about $7 respectively. A church break in affected the Christian church, with small change taken from a Sunday school box and a birthday fund. Sheriff Thomas says investigations continue with few leads.
